Hot Toddy

A hot toddy, also known as hot whiskey in Ireland, is typically a mixed drink made of liquor and water with honey, lemon, herbs and spices, and served hot. Recipes vary, and hot toddy is traditionally drunk before retiring for the night, in wet or cold weather or to relieve the symptoms of the cold and flu.

Ingredients

  • Brandy (4 oz)
  • Honey (1 tsp)
  • Lemon (1 slc)
  • Tea (4 oz)

Steps

  1. Brew tea and fill a tall glass 3/4 full.
  2. Mix in honey.
  3. Mix in brandy shots.
  4. Add lemon slice and enjoy.
