Welcome to Call My Chef!
A chef is a professional cook and tradesman who is proficient in all aspects of food preparation, often focusing on a particular cuisine. The word "chef" is derived from the term chef de cuisine, the director or head of a kitchen.
Chefs are the top of a huge body that ranges from world famous, to TV superstars, down to local favorites, and all the way to the person who makes your favorite dish. The depth is the same as being a musician... the question is if you like the music. It doesn't have to be world famous, and the race isn't to the top. The race is to the best dish.
This site centers around food we've prepared, recipes we like, other places we enjoy, and a scrapbook of pictures we captured of us along the way. Here's a set of quick links to our content. Each of them will have a set of quick links to help you find what you want quickly.
